Summer Adventure #4-Utah

After two full weeks of fun, we spent the last few days in Utah. First on the list, Cafe Rio! Jon always makes sure to get it with me!

The next day we had Easton's baby blessing. Jaren was SO excited because he got to perform his first duty as a deacon and hold the microphone for Aaron! Way to go buddy!

We spent an evening visiting Granny and checking out her new house!

Papa took us to see Mary Poppins-it was a fun play, just a little long!

Jaren also got his first chance to go to the temple with his best buddy Josh! I got to go and watch them and I was overwhelmed with gratitude and love and the spirit as I watched these two young men take time out of their day to serve in the temple and be excited about it! Such a proud mom! I loved how excited Jaren was about it! What a great kid he is!

My mom and I went to the Craft Warehouse-oh my goodness! You could spend so much money there! We did find some good stuff that my mom bought me for my birthday.

 

Cousins and friends filled the rest of our days!

 Ellie still finds time to hang out with her friend Brayden. These two get along so well and have so much fun together. I love that they can still be friends!

Ellie was pretty sad about leaving-Papa gave her a flower to make her smile.

The only good thing about leaving was that we took Mimi with us this year! She helped me drive home rather than Dru coming back out. We had LOTS of fun as you can imagine! Never a dull moment with my mom and I love it!

We found these "corn on the cob" carmel popcorn, so we pulled those out when we hit Nebraska!

 It was another incredible and fun trip to Utah! I love the time we get to spend with our families. It is hard to live so far away, but it makes that time all the better! Thanks to all who made our summer so much fun! Love you!

Summer Adventure Part #3-Wyoming

After a weekend with the Laws, it was the Hammond sides turn! We headed up to Wyoming to the cabin for a week! We LOVE it up there and we have so much fun. We celebrated both Aaron and Jaren's birthdays!

We had lots of fun rides on Mimi's new four wheeler!

And lots of fun cousin time and cuddles from this cutie!

One day, we headed up to Jackson Hole. We always stop and eat lunch at the "Lunch Counter" rapids on the Snake river and watch the rafters.

Our crew! Ellie and Jaren and Papa went up to the Ski resort to ride the Alpine slides while we took the little ones to the swim pool.

Easton must have felt like he was back in the womb!

The girls got super brave and went down the big slide all by themselves!

We love Jackson Hole-it is beautiful!

Back at the cabin during the week, there was plenty of time to play and do crafts.

We make t-shirts every year.

And some good rides up the mountain!

Taycen was obsessed with the vacuum and everyone's shoes! Too cute!

My mom came up with our new Pinterest idea-saran wrap the table before crafts and then you do not have to worry about it and clean up is super easy!

Huts are also a must!

Kaden adored Easton! It was so cute how kind and gentle he was with him.

After much convincing, I finally got this boy on a ride with me!

On an adventure with Mimi-moving a TREE! Once she has found a trail, she is determined to follow it!

I got to go on two nice bike rides on the very long and straight roads of Wyoming. My mom went with Jamie as she ran and they picked up a buddy that ran alongside Jamie the whole time.

Fairy/Troll Houses were a big hit this year! We found a bunch of stuff from nature to decorate and build them with. The kids loved it!

We decided to take one last ride when my mom's four wheeler died! We had to tow it down the trail until we could get to a place we could load it on a trailer. :(
