is Alfie the Elf. He came to us on Dec. 1st and has been causing trouble ever since. He came with a story of how he was sent by Santa to watch the kids to make sure they are behaving. Each night he reports to Santa on how everyone did that day. He always seems to find a new spot each time he returns. From his story, we found out that we needed to name him-at first it was Elfie, but we stuck with Alfie. There a couple of rules that come with Alfie-he is not allowed to talk to us and we are not allowed to touch him. If he gets touched, he loses his magic. We did find out that if you put a bit of cinnamon around him, his magic will return. The kids LOVE trying to find him each morning and see the mischief he has been up to!
Day 2-He wanted some Christmas Music!
Day 3-He was extra naughty and drew faces on the kids pictures!
Day 4-He made quite the mess with a roll of TP!
Day 5-He threw all our stockings on the ground and replaced them with each of our regular socks!
Day 6-He helped out with St. Nicholas Day by filling the kids shoes with treats.
Day 7-He really wanted it to snow because he did Snow Angels on our counter. (Notice the cinnamon-he accidentally got bumped, but he was revived! Thank Goodness!)
Day 8-Stopping to smell the roses. It took the kids 4 hours to find him. His hat blended into the scenery too well!
We can't wait to see what he does this next week! His story told us he is here until Christmas Eve and then he gets a break until next year!

This seems like the perfect job for Dru every night to make mischief with the elf! How fun!
We have one, too! I am kinda running out of ideas so this is a big help. :)
